I recently performed at the 2001 International Trombone Association Festival in Nashville, TN. I was also able to visit the various displays, and came across Doug Elliott for the first time in person. As I visited, I tried a mouthpiece set-up that allows me a better crossover from bass trombone to tuba.
As I practice with this new set-up, I wander how many of you have used his tuba set-ups, and what do you think about the mouthpieces that he constructs? I am considering a tuba set-up, would like to hear some comments.
If you don't mind, please list your instrument and the model numbers of your mouthpiece.
