If, like so many of us, you switched to tuba from trumpet it will be a short learning curve. Just play as you would a trumpet. If this is a problem, get a beginning trumpet book and run through it (all fingerings will apply). The very early stuff is great for working on long tones while associating the treble cleff with the tuba (your tuba will effectively become a transposing instrument keyed in BBb). Being able to read treble will allow you to pick up any Bb part (trumpet, clarinet, tenor sax) and play it in the right key (with piano, duets, whatever). Opens up a whole new world of opportunities.
