Don't take what I say as the final word, but... Gregoriev was a Russian composer who wrote 50 etudes for cello. The book is progressive by key signature (it starts with two etudes in C major, the next two in the relative A minor, the next two in F maj, two in D min, two in G maj, all the way up to D# minor). Each etude shifts to the relative major/minor in the B section, then returns to A' in the tonic (this isn't always true). They were transcribed for tuba by someone at Robert King. Last I heard, the books was out of print, but it's also listed in a brief catalogue on my Kopprasch inside cover. Good etudes to do a variety of techniques with such as everything slurred or everything ff.
