I'll try to kick into lucidity here for a bit with honest questions:
would not a semifinalist be notified of the results downstream?
if not, wouldn't a semifinalist be able to call the point-of-contact (P.O.C.)
and enquire about the results?
if the orchestra P.O.C. didn't welcome enquiries yet, then why should we?
now, assuming brevity on the part of Umpidyscrunch, the short busses with tinted windows cost you taxpayers a lot more than N.E.A. funding for your orchestra...like my day gig its just another example of a free ride on your dime! oh, do call your mom and tell her about this exchange of ideas, I'm sure she'll appreciate it ;^}
