Just to clarify my statements. I was not bragging in anyway about my playing abilities. I was just comparing my Eb tuba to my CC tuba and the differences between the two. I agree with you John about the sound volume as well. My CC can play louder down low than my Eb but not by very much because I think the Willson is such a big Eb. I have a friend that has a 983 and I have played it before. I think they are very good as well and also very different sounding and playing as compared to the Willson. Not better or worse just different. I feel that to own only one tuba the Eb would be a very good choice as one's only axe.
