BBB, hell. Time to contact the law firm of Pirhanna, Shark and Schyster. If that doesn't work, find the actual shippng clerk and supervisor that routed your horn and tell them they are going to be sued personally for negligence, and that if you win, they'll be paying for your grandkids' collge. I'm guessing that whether or not you can actually do it, it'll get their bureaucratic attention. Especially contained a letter from the aforementioned law firm.
I believe that their purported $100 liability is a red herring, and does not include instances of obvious negligence and malfeasance. IOW, I don't think it would stand up in civil court. They are instructed to tell you this in the hopes that you'll go away. Stick to your guns.
