Do any of you folks, when shopping for tubas, take into account even to a small degree how the horn looks? I just bought myself a new horn and I am happy to say that it sounds great, and looks cool too. I suppose it matters to a small degree community wide. That's why they offer differnet plating options (laquer, silver, nickel, raw). The plating makes a much bigger difference in the sound of smaller brasses, but not so much with the tubas. Purely aesthetic?
And with that, what do you think is the coolest looking tuba out there?
