Thanks much. You hit the nail on the head - I was worried about the horn facing too far toward the audience. Now if only we could get the trumpets to face the back of the stage... but I guess if they were willing to do that they wouldn't have the right emotional makeup to be trumpet players :) :) :)
If I interpret what you said correctly, the playes would sit in an arc with the bell of the tuba facing at about a 45 degree angle toward the right (as viewed from the audience) wall of the hall, and the horn's bell facing sort of at the back left corner of the stage.
