When's the lsat time you attended a "world premiere" full of noises you'd only expect to hear from malfunctioning Hotchkiss reciprocating force pump. The audience fidgets, looks at their watches, talks and generally tries their best to endure the effort. And then they go ahead and encourage the rascals by giving it a standing ovation! Then the review in the paper the next morning talks about how revolutionary and wonderful it was.
I guess it's not PC to throw things or yell "fiasco" when a performance or work stinks.
This is the world we live in--and we deserve what we ask for.
