I gave him advice: Get centered, work on the basics (BBb / CC), find out more about F and Eb tubas in general and specifically, so his questions are more specific and more directed, and go practice. I still doubt that a tuba player, who isn't yet old enough to vote, has mastered the fundamentals of the standard contrabass tuba well enough to effectively ponder some F vs. Eb issue, and if indeed he has, he shouldn't need our advice, anyway.
