It is my personal feelings that the horn has less to do with the quality of the music than does the player. With that in mind, if you like the look of the colored horn, go for it! It will most certainly get attention! Now, I must admit that while this color might look cool on a sax, for me it would be just a bit much on a tuba (the colored inside of a bell might be a more subtle touch). If you decide to take the plunge, do post a picture. Doubt it will result in any hot fad among tuba players, but Iwould bet you will get some very interesting responses!!
