The thayer valve assembly; which includes linkage, valve, and tubing, can be purchased through a repairman or business. Brasswind, Dillon, Shires, Rath, Mid-South (there you go Joe), and other repair shops of good reputation can get the valve assembly in the area of $600 per valve. Putting them on the bone will cost extra. I'm sure brook mays will also be able to get it, I'm trying not to leave anyone out. You know how that is.

At this point, you will need to consider that the valve will be a thayer valve, and not an edwards valve. (Lots of discussion about this in ITA journals)The same construction, but different companies.

I agree with the bach being the better instrument if you are going to purchase an axial flow valve instrument. Along with the thayer, they have the hagmann, rotor, and k valve. Each has some kind of good and bad about them.
