Don't forget that a proper flight case will protect your horn from all but the most disastrous situations. Haven't I read that any damage to your horn while using a Walt Johnson case is paid for by the Johnson folks? Don't they guarantee you won't have damage or they'll pay to have it fixed? I've never had damage to my horn while using my Anvil case, even when the foam padding on the inside of the case failed last summer. It just seems to me that a good flight case is your cheapest, most common sense option. Good luck!
