That has been my experience, me with narrow face. The bottom edge of the cup idealy will fit into the "dip" in my chin, but it goes below that, while bumping my nose on the top. I've ended up using the mpc that Matt Walters originally sent me with the tuba, because it fits my face best. It's a JK Exclusive, not even expensive, works as well as anything else I've tried, and fits my face better.
