You have settled on this mouthpiece because it's the one that fits your face. If it works for the tuba, too - then you need look no further.

However, if the mouthpiece works for your face but not the tuba, then you need to change everything *except* the rim. This problem for you becomes an opportunity for Doug Elliott!

Now that you know that you have an extreme "face" (extreme enough that your choice of mouthpiece is dictated by the rim - regardless of what the tuba requires, it might make sense to look into a system such as Doug Elliott's, where you can keep the rim constant while varying the other important parameters.
