64 years old and not having played for some years, I'm now trying to start again. I find it unexpectedly hard to regain a living embouchure. Especially the lower range is difficult; my lips feel like made of wood, unwilling to vibrate.
Has anyone, experiencing the same kind of difficulty, found good training methods, please let me know! The best I can think of is long notes, successively moving my lower range limit downwards.
