Boy, you can say the business about "nothing like the old ones' again!

I've got an Orsi Eb "Verdi Tuba" or whatever you want to call it. Very cylindrical (the tuning slide in the leadpipe is reversible and the same bore as the other 3 slides). 31" high, 13" bell and 0.495" bore measured at the 2nd valve. Pitched just like an Eb tuba, but very skinny.

I've a problem figuring out what is the proper mouthpiece for this peashooter. It takes a tenor-shank trombone mouthpiece, so folks have naturally suggested something largish like a Bach 3, but does anyone know for sure what the heck the "historically correct" mouthpiece might be?

Thanks,
Chuck
