What horn(s) in your opinion fall under the banner of being 'nimble' and 'not sucking your lungs out'? I'm thinking Bb more now... You mention the King but that is a smaller horn in overall size and bore? I've played a Fafner which impressed. It combined a big sound with relative ease of playing accross a full range.
As you've said previously, how 'playable' a horn is (efficiency and nimbleness?) is of paramount importance to the amatuer musician.
