There probably aren't any "bad ones". A ready-to-buy-a-tuba customer will walk in to a store and play two or three tubas, play them, and pick out the "best" one...OK, that one is gone...

The dealer gets in another tuba of the same model within two or three weeks... Another customer comes in and plays two or three tubas and decides that the "best" tuba is the one rejected by the last person...

...and so on.
