I do know of the Ron Bishop/Cleveland and it is a good one for sure! I also have the N.Y./Masur. But I am going to have put my vote out there for the CSO/Levine recording on DG,1994 I think. This is just one of the absolute best recordings period that I have ever heard. The engineers were not messing around with this one. By all means if you dont have it in your collection than please get it. Gene Porkorny plays the part beautifully(as usual).
