Using big tubas for auditions

Hey all, The only tuba I own is a 6/4 tuba and I have just a couple of quick questions about performance and auditions:

1. Have there been any professionals that have used only a 6/4 tuba throughout their entire career (orchestral, solo, band, quintet, etc)

2. Has anyone won an audition using a 6/4 tuba

I would love to hear from any and eveyone who has a 6/4 tuba as their primary instrument. Just for those who are wondering, I play a 1984 Yorkbrunner. I have had several reputable performers in the tuba community play it and they have commented on how it "doesn't play like a 6/4 tuba." I asked them to elaborate and they said that it was a very agile tuba, playing more like a 4/4 tuba, but with more breadth of sound. Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.
