if you are gonna double the part, which is fine, FOR GOD'S SAKE PLAY IT DOWN AN OCTAVE!!!! I had to play it with a tuba player who seemed to think it was a tuba solo and all those cracked E's in the staff made me sound awful. It's not fun to double like that, you'd do more good playing it down an octave, for your own sake (from bass trombone wrath) and the orchestra's sake (in tuning issues)
