If as a student you are a consumer (not a bad way to look at a "program" you can look constructively at the program to determine if it will give you the opportunities to learn in the way you are responsible for. BUT that assumes you know what you are doing, and have the critical thinking skills which most of this thread says are non-existent in today's college grads! Finally, if you are obligated to have to "settle" for a choice between inferior programs, why not strive to see the programs improved, instead of copping out and saying "I am what I make of myself"? Remember, this started as a tome about one or two facets of the topic, and like a cut stone there are QUITE a few more facets to it, ALL of which are required to make up the stone (or the discussion, in this case.)
