In the early 70,s, Spike Jr. started the band again. I played ele. bass and a 100 year old tuba that I built with fireworks in the bell to go off at the end of 1812. We had a record out (Rain drops keep fallin on your head), that was played on Sunday nights, I think Dr. Domindo . Then later, recorded with Warner Brothers, but I had to play electric bass only, cause they wanted to record once. T. Johnson played tuba. They never released it. Best time I've had. Thinking about putting my tuba on Ebay. It's
really wrecked, but has a great sound for an allmost 3/4, plus you have to pull the main slide way out, cause of the horn is in high pitch.
