I'm sure this repairman doesn't make the bulk of his income off repairing tubas but that doesn't mean he is not qualified...He probably doesn't know the proper sized felt to go on a Conn 5J. Probably what would happen is he'd pull out a measuring tool and find out the proper size. Don't discredit him because he's not a tuba encyclopedia...
