I have to back this one.

I might ask you Jeff, whether you ever have tried to add up the numbers of tuba/sousa models issued by Conn, some numbers covering different models according to production year.

Add to that number the numbers of King models, Reynolds models, Olds models, Bach models, York models, Hirsbrunner models (US and European numberings), Yamaha models, B&S models (pre-and-within-Perantucci-era numberings), Mahillon models, Couesnon models, Courtois modelęęs, Amati/Cerveny/Sanders/Lignatone-and-whatever-stencil-stamping models, Rudy-not-equalling-Wenzel-Meinl models, Kalison models, Orsi models, Miraphone models, not to speak of numbers of Hawkes-merging-with-Boosey-into-B&H-later-merging-with-Besson-selling-Sovereign models.

Even a tuba expert like Joe S. works mostly in the trumpet-trombone-horn areas with their even more plentiful numbers of models. Because that is where the money are.

Please do not expect even the most qualified specialist repairman to be a walking encyclopedia of parts ## and dimensions.

Klaus
