Thanks for the suggestions. Solo wise I think your right. I'm leaning towards the Hindemith Sonate because it's something I feel that I play well. It also shows good musicianship, sense of time and rhythm, and a particular style. Even though it may not be as difficult the VW, I'm sure that the audition committee is NOT looking for the person who can get through the hardest piece; they're looking for someone with potential and an overall sense of musicianship.
