I was ready, for the price and sound the King 2341 was for me, it even changed my mind to pistons. But I can't deal with what it takes to remove the water and thats turned me away a bit. I have now focused my attention to another well priced horn in the MW 25. I have not read much about the MW25 other than what I've been reading here, so I ask, whats the knocks or downside of the MW 25? Unless someone has a better way of removing the water in the King, having to sit in cramped spaces and "King twirl" this beast was truly frustrating friday night.

If you care this is what happened, towards the end of Egmont there are a series of whole notes in which my conductor freaks out about the cords, pitch, etc. I gambled that I could get through the piece without "gurgling" I was wrong. I've also been told that I get more of a pop sound changing notes with the piston, but I like the feel of the pistons motion, it seems like a true up and down and not slanty.

Sorry for whatever.
