There is a lot of truth in what Daryl says!

Of the two brass repair techs in town, I've seen enough really bad work that I wouldn't send them a dented tin can to work on. I've got the luxury of taking as much time as I need to complete a job on one of my own horns; I'm not on the clock on these things.

The guy who only has a casual interest in repair isn't going to give Ferree's much business because tools are expensive. On the other hand, an "amateur" who takes the time to learn and do a job carefully can turn out work that's as good as the best of the pros.

The guys you have to be afraid of are those who won't invest in the proper tools and use vice-grips to pull a stuck valve cap off.
