Hey Gang,
I need to buy a mute for my Mirafone 1290. It's been far too many years since I've even used a mute on a tuba, so I need some suggestions as to what might be the proper choice in the "world of Tuba mutes." The first (and last) mute I used/owned was made for me by Ron Apperson when I was at Cal State Long Beach in the late 70's. I know things have changed a little since then.
Any and all suggestions will be taken with a grain or two of salt.
