I just bought a Boosey Imperial 4 valve Eb tuba which I'm extremely happy with. The instrument came with a gold plated Dennis Wick 2 that the previous owner, Richard Frazier, said is absolutely perfect for this horn, a statement that I can hardly doubt because it plays wonderfully with the tuba. The thing is, I haven't tried any other mouthpieces on an Eb and I'm wondering who might have recommendations for others to try. By the way, this horn has a European leadpipe, which I don't want to change despite the complications with finding mouthpieces.
