I am taking that next step in my endevors to become a professional player. I am transfering schools to get a better emphasis in the performance area, and I am fixing to buy a CC tuba. Many have told me that the Kalison 4/4 in Silver is a good horn to learn the CC to tuba on but would have to sell it later. I am looking for a good CC tuba to learn how to play on before stepping up into the 5/4 range. What do you think? Is the Kalison good? I would be greatful to any suggestion you may have. Oh, in giving you suggestion I would like a pistion valve horn, and I would like to only spend around 6500, but can come up with more if I absolutely have to.

P.S. I also looked at the Rudy Meinl 4/4 but they say that the piston version has intonation problems. Thanks again....
