I was afraid of that. Can't single-tongue fast enough, and can't make good sounds on that high Bb even on a Euphonium. No technique, no chops. Sigh.
I suppose I won't waste my time trying to get the 2nd tuba gig with the local mostly amateur orchestra when they play it next year.
