I've been using a Doug Elliott mouthpiece w/ 102 rim and a J cup for the last several month with my Willson 2900. I recently began taking private lessons and the teacher commented that the mouthpiece sound bright. He recommended that I go back to my old 51D, which he thought sounded much better. Has anyone else had a problem with the Doug Elliott mouthpieces being to bright?
