Here we go again, trying to see if some backwoods, shade tree tuba maintenance will harm an expensive horn. I have never heard of this CRL stuff so I don't know if it will harm a tuba or not. Best case senario: the inside of your horn will be nice and squeaky clean. The worst case senario: your horn will disolve into a pile of dust. I suspect the real result will be somewhere in between.

I am not a repairman. I am a professional tubist who appreciates the value of the instruments that we play. Basic maintenence we can handle but the heavy duty stuff we need to leave to the professionals. Don't take a chance with your horn. If you think it needs a chemical cleaning, then take it to a shop that has the proper equiptment to do it
right.

And that's all I'm going to say about that!
