I've only played one example of this euphonium (Willson Marzan), but I was impressed with it. It was very free blowing! I thought the tone was slightly brighter compared to the Hirsbrunner, Yamaha 642/842, and Besson 967 compensating euphs, but I still really liked it. But my tone impressions may not be that accurate since I tried it at the ARMY-TEC last year so the background noise wasn't negligible.

Different strokes for different folks...While I liked really this euphonium and found it very neat, I would probably never buy it since I prefer the 3+1 setup. I'm an ex-trombonist who was very used to playing the trigger with the left hand, so the 3+1 setup was the most natural for me. I never was able to successfully play with the in-line without reaching around and playing the 4th valve with my left hand.
