actually "Dean", although it may be that 99% of public music performances using tuba are orchestra/band gigs, but I'd bet that a far greater awareness of the tuba as a musical instrument comes to the public via events like tubachristmas mass playing. I also disagree with you calling it "too unique to tie to anything else" at least as lame a statemnt as the other poster who said "it's just Christmas music." My question would be for you guys, "what exactly do you believe is important when making music, having fun, or a truly musical presentation?"
