OK... I have searched the archives and have found SOME help for my problems, but not much.. Here it goes... How important is horizontal placement of the MP, sometimes when I get done practicing I look in the mirror and see that my mouthpiece is probably 70% upper, 30% lower lips, and 60% left, 30% right. Is this really bad to get a good solid tone... How would I fix that without totally starting over? Another problem I have is that my tongueing is too heavy... it comes out taking all of the TONE out of my notes. I know that TOH is supposed to be used, but with me, that is just too heavy. Could there be something wrong with my tongue? OK... last one... I just switched to a CC tuba, and when I hit a bottom space A, my whole embouchure seems to have to change. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance for your help!!
