OK, tuba-meisters, here is a Q for those of you who have (so-called) perfect pitch.
I have found that I read music differently than most. I see the music, hear the pitch in my head, and choose a fingering based on the pitch I hear, not where the note is printed in the clef. Now the Big Q: how do you change instruments, like from a CC to an F, and not get mixed up? I go bananas when playing instruments that are similar (like a CC and an F) but have to use different fingerings for the same pitch. My fingers get all discomboobled.
