As with all Cervenys, consistency is an issue. Good ones are excellent, but they aren't all good. Cerveny nuts seem to think that older is better; older being defined as before about 1990 or so.

The Piggy is reasonably well respected for many applications that come just short of large ensembles. Those who own good ones don't sell them, and the sounds they make are a good recommendation. I've seen them used most in small orchestras and chamber groups.
