I pose this question to stir a little in this months caudron...
Should manufacturers disclose the name/origin of instruments marketed under their name?
A few examples...
Bach Tubas and Euphoniums - made by Yamaha
Holton Tubas (not the Phillips) and some Euphs - made by Yamaha
There are many examples and this cross-manufacturing is not limited to tubas and euphs. It also occurs in the automotive industry. Should the public readily be advised of who/where an instrument is made?
