The answer that you are looking for is not going to arrive. There are players who have had success on these horns individually and will stick by what served them best. Not only are these horns different from each other, but they are different within examples of each model. One PT-4 could be great the next could be terrible. This exist with all of them. I will say however that the Mirafone will be most consistent. This is what you should do:
1) Get a quality instructor and let them help you in the process.

2) Go to a reputable shop and try as many horns as they have available. If possible take a unbiased ear to assist you. Don't be afraid to try every single horn. Let the salesman give you advice and they can also assist in helping find a horn that suits you.

3) Do not enter the store with the mentality that you will find the last horn you ever own. Find what works best for you now and will let you grow as a player. 5 years from now you may need something different for how you play or what you are playing in.

4) Approach the process as an audition. Narrow down what there is and then go back and have a semi's and final's round for your benefit. This will help find the horn that is best for you.

5) A horn can be modified to fit your needs. If a thumbring is needed to be moved or even a leadpipe adjusted, it can be done. Budget this in.

6) Try all of the horns with the same mouthpiece. Do not audition mouthpieces at the same time. This will lead to a frustrating and confusing process.

With these points in mind, try to select the horn that fits you best and your current needs. Every person is unique and there are a lot of different tubas to accomidate the various playing styles and requirements of the numerous tuba players that are out there.

Best of luck.
