Aside from the professional brass cd's out there, has anyone heard of any Latin/salsa/jazz quintet music that sounded good? I've heard lots of groups trying to sound jazzy/latin, but they still play like classical players trying to play jazz (and some of the arrangements aren't so good). There has to be some place/person that is just sitting on piles of these great quintet pieces. Anyone know where these cd's/sheet music can be found?
