I just bought a yahama 621S F tuba. I love the sound and the low register, but I'm having some major intonation problems in the middle range---especially the eb just below the staff---its almost a quarter tone flat. I've tried my helleburg, my miraphone c4 and even a bach 22 mouthpiece, to no avail. I would really like to keep it instead of sending it back.
Any suggestions?
