Joseph, are we thinking of the same Graslitz F that Dave Fedderly was auctioning to the highest bidder at the Army tuba conference? The bidding started and ended at $800, by the way.

But I have to tell you that it was the wierdest, smallest, and stuffiest F tuba I've ever put to my lips. I was expecting it to be similar to the Musica F tuba that I learned F on, which was noticeably smaller than my Yamaha 621 in its response and tone, but it was MUCH smaller. I felt the same way playing that Graslitz as I did playing my euphonium with a tuba mouthpiece, and got the same sound and intonation. Maybe it would work with a euphonium mouthpiece!
