Thanks for the input and I am really looking for a good reason not to get a 981. I don't have the cash nor do I think the wilson is a good match for me due to the price. I think 5 grand is plenty enough to pay for a really well made good sounding Tuba. The only thing I don't like about the 981 is the 3 + 1 set up. I prefer to have all my pistons in a nice neat row so I will either go with a front loader piston which I usually don't like or a rotory valved horn if I can't handle the 3 + 1.
