I first saw the DWS about 13 or 14 years ago when I'd sneaked into a TMEA concert. I was living in San Antonio at the time. When I moved to Dallas in '93, I was a fairly regular attender to the extent that my suddenly expanded travel schedule allowed. Dallas has wonderful musical performance. I was also a big fan of the Dallas Bach Society performances and held season tickets to the DSO at the time Andrew Litton was just starting there.
I have several of the DWS CD's (recommend the Ron Nelson CD in particular), but the live performance is always best.
How long have you played in that group? I'm wondering if you were in the group at the time I was in the audience. I know that Lee Hipp played with the group at one time, though it may have been as a sub--I just don't remember.
