I play euphonium and trombone and have become interested in Eb tuba as a hobby, My private teacher tells me that the embochure change shouldn't bother me if I don't let it bother me, but several other teachers and friends have told me that I should avoid it all together if I wish to become truly successful on trombone. I think there should be a happy medium somewhere that I can play a little a Eb tuba and still not have trouble with being a successful trombone player. Anyone else have any solutions? ideas?
