Hello all,
As I stated below in my reply to Josh, I'm curious about who all out there play Alexander tubas. Both of my principal teachers from the last 6 years are Alexander tubists with INCREDIBLE sounds, so obviously that's why I love these tubas sooo much. I think it's sad when I go to an audition or convention and see no other Alexanders there...well, you will occasionally see a couple of Alex F's, but rarely a CC. My teachers told me about the Alexander "brothership," but unfortunately, there aren't too many "brothers" left. Any "brothers" out there?
I play an Alex CC from c.1969-72 (bought it from Lee Hipp in San Antonio), and used to have an Alex F (bought from Mark "Mickey" Moore in Illinois) from about the same years that I sold last summer.
