There is a note or two where I would really like to pull the main slide (open notes, no valves) on my Miraphone CC, but....I can't reach it with my left hand, and I daren't take the right hand off the valves to do it. I just looked at a picture of the 186 CC and it is the same config; no main slide pulling possible. Has anybody else found a need to do a main slide pull on a MF and not been able to find a way? The only other thing I can think of to do is use a cross fingering (which will be even more sharp) and pull one of the valves slides.
